Upon making your way to the McKibbin Lofts at 255 McKibbin st, please locate the dial pad by the front door under The Bone Museum and The Gecko Gallery signs. Click on the “directory” option where you can then call The Gecko Gallery. Tap on The Gecko Gallery, and the call sign, and wait for a click sound that indicates the door is open. Proceed downstairs towards the glass door, and call The Gecko Gallery from the second dial pad. When you hear a click, enter the space, and make your way to studio 0019.

The Gecko Gallery NYC is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Morgan stop L train, a 15 minute walk from the Lorimer stop M and J train, and a 5 to 10 minute walk from surrounding bus stations.

Aside from our amazing animals, visitors can expect to see a plethora of enclosures that tailor to the needs of every individual animal, as well as informational plaques and cards about animals on display and their ecology.

Most of our animals are captive bred, sourced from zoos and reputable breeders. However, some are wild caught to help strengthen the genetic diversity of those in captivity.

Yes! Offspring of some of the species displayed in the gallery may be available, and proceeds through our adoption programs will further support our conservation efforts.
