Tickets

At The Gecko Gallery NYC, we provide several ticket options. Admission to The Gecko Gallery NYC is $20 dollars a person, and joint admission to The Gecko Gallery NYC and The Bone Museum is $30 dollars per person. Tickets purchased through The Gecko Gallery NYC website can be used on any of our opening days, and admission time is not restricted. Upon attending, visitors will be asked to present a ticket receipt. Tickets are also available at the front kiosk at The Gecko Gallery NYC, as well as The Bone Museum. All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.

Animal behavior

While our animals are generally calm and accustomed to human presence, they are still wild or semi-wild by nature. During educational encounters or guided handling experiences, please be aware of this risk. By purchasing a ticket and choosing to participate in any interaction or handling session, you acknowledge and accept all inherent risks. The Gecko Gallery and its affiliates are not legally liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, or damage to personal property that may occur as a result of animal interaction. Understand that animals may:

• Bite or scratch if they feel threatened, startled, or mishandled.

• Defecate or urinate as a natural response to handling or stress.

• Always follow staff instructions and use gentle, respectful behavior when interacting. Though none of our animals pose any severe risk, we do our best to ensure that the experience is as stress free and enjoyable for all parties involved.

Insects

Please be aware that many of the species housed at The Gecko Gallery NYC are insectivores and rely on live insects as a primary part of their diet. While we maintain strict cleanliness and containment protocols, you may occasionally notice feeder insects (such as crickets, or fruit flies) within enclosures — or very rarely, outside of them.

Animal Activity

Our animals are most active at specific times of day or season. You may notice some resting, hiding, or inactive — this is normal and part of their natural behavior. We do not disturb them for viewing purposes.

Live Feeding

You may observe live feeding of insects as part of typical animal care routine. This is essential for the health and well-being of certain species. Viewer discretion is advised.

Temperature & Humidity

The gallery may be warm or humid to replicate natural environments. Please dress accordingly.

Health & Allergies

This facility may contain allergens including insects, plants, and other natural materials. If you have severe allergies or respiratory sensitivities, please take necessary precautions.

Interaction

While some encounters may be hands-on during guided sessions, most animals are not to be handled. This is for their safety and yours. 

Safety

All animals in the gallery are non-venomous and safe to be around under normal circumstances. However, always follow staff guidance and do not attempt to touch or interact with animals unless instructed.

Emergencies

In case of emergency or if you witness anything unusual, please notify a staff member immediately. Your safety and the animals’ welfare are our top priorities.
